Northumberland & Durham records

Northumberland & Durham FHS has an extensive programme of meetings and publications. The latter include more than 2.8 million records of baptisms, marriages, burials, memorial inscriptions and other data that can be searched on the FindMyPast website. The online collection is still growing, with over 30,000 extra baptism records drawn 17 parishes recently added.

The records for the area that are available on FindMyPast will greatly help anyone whose forebears lived in Northumberland or County Durham, particularly as many with that connection are now scattered across the World. If your family comes from one of the two counties why not explore the Society's website or visit one of its nine branch meetings to find out more about the benefits of membership?
