e-petition: National Library of Wales
The following petition has been added to the National Assembly for Wales website at http://www.assemblywales.org/gethome/e-petitions/epetition-list-of-signatories.htm?pet_id=317&prncl_ptnr=Nicholas%20Davey&clsd_dt=31/05/2009
"We call upon the National Assembly for Wales to ensure that sufficient funds are provided to the National Library of Wales, to enable the NLW to reverse its decision to close on Saturdays from the 1st of April 2009. The only day of the week which the working, enthusiastic, amateur researcher can visit the library."
The Federation of Family History Societies supports this petition and we encourage all family historians and other users of archives to show their support for this. In order to vote it is necessary to register your details but this should be straightforward.
