Directory of Speakers
Welcome to the FFHS Directory of Speakers
This is our first attempt at getting an up to date live Directory on-line and available to our members.
This edition is based on an earlier text edition that was printed out and circulated some years ago. The data in that edition has expired with time and we are now asking speakers to submit their new talks and any changes to their details. Changes can be emailed to with the subject line "Directory of Speakers".
Currently we have contacted everyone who has an email address in the Directory, very few have bounced and we have removed the email addresses for those that did. We have sent letters to those who did not give us an email address and are already receiving a very good response. Over 55% have responded so far and this is very encouraging.
The site allows you to view the talks given by a particular speaker or on a specific topic. It is hoped to allow a selection of speakers in a particular county to be added in the future.
Each speaker's personal listing also shows the date when they were last updated, if this is set to 1 Jan 2006, then they have not been updated at all since the original paper list. You should contact the speaker to confirm fees etc before final planning as these will change more frequently than other details.
The Directory is currently maintained by members of the FFHS Education Sub-committee and any requests for addition or amendments should be sent to them by email to with the subject line "Directory of Speakers".
Finally a review of the Directory is currently ongoing and we are looking at how speaker's names are submitted and how we maintain the Directory so that details are current.
The Directory is only as good as the quality and up to date nature of the details contained within it, so if you are a speaker, or you know of a speaker, whose details have changed please let us know.
If you wish to nominate a speaker then please contact FFHS at the above email address.
Regards
David HOLMAN
FFHS Education Officer
