Judging Panel

The entries for the Award are assessed by a judging panel of three people.

For the 2008 Award, the FFHS Web Award Judging Panel will be:

  • Webmaster of winning web-site 2006:
Steve Archer (North West Kent FHS)
  • Webmaster of winning web-site 2007:
    Alan Stoner (Sussex FHG)
  • Guest Judge*:
Des Gander (winner of GoONS Web Award 2006)

* Des has particular experience and interest in web accessibility for visually impaired people and others with disabilities. Whilst such accessibility is not currently one of the criteria for judging a website, societies are encouraged to conform to the accessibility guidelines wherever possible (for details of the W3C Web Accessibility Initiative, visit www.w3.org/WAI/).

The competition is co-ordinated by the FFHS Education Officer.
